I think reading these summer books weren’t as bad as I thought it would be. I really enjoyed reading How to Read Literature Like a Professor because it made me more inclined to think deeper about what exactly I’m reading. My favorite book, hands down, had to be The Kite Runner. That book made me feel so many different emotions and I almost felt some sort of emotional connection to Amir, Hassan, and Sohrab. I really would like to see the movie and compare it to the book soon. My least favorite book was What is the What. For some reason I could not get into that book because it was too long and boring in my opinion. Hopefully this year will introduce me to new books that I will love reading.
