Chapter Six

When Caravaggio tells Hanna that he doesn't think that the English patient is really English, but really a Hungarian man who worked for the Germans was kind of surprising to me. He had obviously done his research when he recalled Almasy, a desert explorer. As much as he tries to convince Hanna, nothing seems to change her opinion about him. He continues to go on and on about the Almasy man and how he guided German spies along the desert into Cairo. Caravaggio must have REALLY dug deep to get all this information and relate it back to Hanna.
