When finding out that Caravaggio is a morphine addict and tries to get the English patient to have a cocktail mixed with morphine was kind of weird to me. I think Hanna is seeing that Caravaggio has an unhealthy obsession with the English patient because he knows that she really cares about him. I was surprised when Hanna told the English patient about what Caravaggio said about them because it could cause some sort of tension between the three of them. When the English patient talked about making love to Katharine's dead body in the desert, I was totally grossed out. I just couldn't get over it. yuck! Katharine's death and the plane crash really had an affect of the English patient. He remembers almost everything about her.
